Haldorson, Dr. M. of Park River, one of the well-known physicians of the state, succumbed to a stroke of apoplexy Friday evening at his home in Park River, the stroke being the second within the last few months. He was first afflicted following a long drive in the country and had hardly recovered from its effects when the second attack took him, passing away very suddenly. It Is probable that the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at Gardar, though arrangements are not yet complete. The deceased was born in Reykjabik, Iceland, in 1867 and was a graduate of the Royal University of Copenhagen in Denmark. He practiced in that country for two years and for several years more was a naval physician. After a short stay in Wisconsin he moved with his family to Park River in 1892 and has resided there ever since. He enjoyed a very large practice and had a great many friends throughout the state. There are left to survive him a wife, three sons, and two daughters. Mrs. O. Peterson of Park River being one of the latter.  The Evening Times October 20, 1911
