 Obituaries
 
Mrs.  Shepard, wife of I. E. Shepard of  Braddock, was claimed by death at St.  Alexius hospital in Bismarck on Saturday, March 19th, of peritonitis, aged 29 years. The deceased had been in poor health for some time and early last week It was considered advisable to take her to the hospital at Bismarck. Here all that medical skill and kind hands could do was done for her, but to no avail. Death relieved her sufferings at 7:30 o’clock Saturday evening, her husband, father, brother and sister being with her at the time of death. Her remains were brought to Braddock Monday and on Tuesday morning funeral services were held at the home, Rev. Wray officiating.  Bismarck Daily Tribune Monday March 28, 1904
 
Walker, A boy about five years old the son of Mrs. Walker, living west of Williamsport, died Tuesday evening near Bismarck, while being brought here for surgical treatment. For a week the little fellow has been suffering with peritonitis. Upon the advice of Dr. Snyder the boy was to be taken to undergo a surgical operation, and was nearly to the city when death over took him. Bismarck Daily Tribune Saturday October 12, 1901
