Jud.—Gottfried Kuhn had a some-what exciting experience when he discovered, upon going out to the stables, that someone had helped himself to one of his horses during the night. A valuable animal was missing as well as the saddle and bridle. A search was made for the horse, Mr. Kuhn not thinking at first that the horse had been stolen, but it could not be found. Later in the day the horse returned from the north-east, showing saddle marks and the evidences of a hard ride. The Ward County Independent November 21, 1912
