Arrested for Rape

W. E. Sidmore of Dickinson was arrested there Saturday night charged with rape and is in the county jail, with a good prospect of a term in the penitentiary.  Sidmore was a caller for the Northern Pacific, and the complaining witness is a mother of a girl about 15 years of age who admitted that the intimacy had continued for some time.  There is a sentiment rather bitter toward Sidmore under the circumstances.  Bismarck Daily Tribune Monday March 12, 1900
