Trails to the Past of North Dakota is excepting any donations of genealogy materials that you may have such as marriage announcements, news articles, old obituaries, births, (you do not need the birth certificate) just the information, and biographies.  If you have any of these items please contact me Marie Miller the North Dakota State Administrator.

Traill County was created in 1875 by the 1874-75 territorial legislature. It was named after Walter John Strickland Traill, an employee of the Hudson's Bay Company and son of Canadian pioneer Catharine Parr Traill

The cities of Traill County are those of Buxton, Clifford, Galesburg, Hatton, Hillsboro being the County Seat, Mayville, Portland, and Reynolds (officially in Grand Forks County) Unincorporated communites are those of Blanchard, Caledonia,and Cummings.
